Your donation allows us to help the community as a whole. It is not just the people with special needs that we help. It is the family members and friends and support workers that look after those with special needs.

It allows us to offer programs, events, and workshops that are designed to empower our community members both young and old, Your support will make a huge impact and help us bring new opportunities to those who need them!

Step #1: Decide how Much You Wish To Donate

Get The Most Bang For Your Donated Dollars

Did you know that a:$400 donation is the largest donation amount you can make while still maintaining the 75% tax credit. Donating larger amounts will of course give you a larger overall tax credit but the percentage you get back as a tax credit starts to fall off.

This means a $400 donation will only cost you $100 after taxes. That’s good value!

Whatever the amount you can donate is of course always appreciated and will go along way in helping us fulfill our mission of helping our communities. It will provide us with a financial foundation that will enable us to represent and influence all levels of government to ensure the concerns of our community are properly addressed.

Step #2: Decide How To Donate

All donations over $100 regardless of how the funds are transferred receive tax receipts, These receipts are usually issued in February of the year following when the donatin was made. This is designed to coincide with when they are needed in order to file taxes for the previous year.

Donations may be submitted using any of the following methods as explained below:

Cryptocurrency

With the rise in the popularity of cryptocurrency it has now become possible for us to accept donations in either Bitcoin or Etherium, The amount received is established at the time the funds are received for tax purposes.

Donations In-Kind

Another popular way of making a donation is to give away goods you have laying around the house. It is also possible to donate your time as well.

The most common and probably the easiest way to make a donation is to use electronic money transfers in the form of interac, credit or debit cards. All transfers should be sent to: donate@partyforpeoplewithspecialneeds.ca

All donations will be applied to the party unless specified in the comment section of the transfer.
